Go Lady Raiders!!

Tonight, the school the boys attend, Lomega, will start the defense of their 2007 State Championship at Midwest City. I just wanted to say GO LADY RAIDERS!!!! And for anyone local check out the game on 99.7 KNID or I think CTBSports.com will have it too for anyone outside of our area that would like to listen.

The kids are ready to go. I will have to post pics of them. Damon and Dilon are spiking their hair using blue hair gel. Kinsley has a custom made Basketball headband with a blue and white korker bow. She also got a custom made onesie since the T-Shirts for the State Tournament didn't come in her size.

Have a great afternoon and evening!! And GO LADY RAIDERS!!!!

Little Tidbits

Ok, I haven't shared anything on here in a couple of weeks. Anything you can imagine illness wise, it feels like we have had. Strep throat (Damon had it twice in a week and half along with Dilon), pink eye, sinus infection (Daddy), Flu (Kinsley), Stomach virus (Mommy and Daddy) and the list continues. We have had three days this week (knock on wood) with no illness. God is GOOD!!!

Damon was sore last night. He was crying. I actually thought he was getting ill. Thankfully it passed. But it was funny to hear a five year old say this, so I had to share. I asked him where it hurt. He said everywhere. I asked about his arms, he said everywhere; I asked about his legs, he said everywhere; I asked about his head, and he finally looked at me and said, "Mommy, even my eyeballs hurt!" I got the message!

I wanted to encourage everyone to go and visit my friend, Morgan Snowden's website. She has added a buddy list for all of her prayer warriors. Another girl with cancer had one and it was amazing to see all of the people praying for her. I encourage you all to go, and sign up on Morgan's buddy list. According to today's post, she gets a penny for each visitor on her website. This is so she can visualize how many people have been to her site and are praying for her to get well. Totally cool! She has over 18,000 now.

Her site is http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/morgansnowden

Have a great Wednesday!!!

House Update

I promised a couple of weeks ago to share pictures of my parents' home. My Dad has been working so fast that I didn't make it over there with my camera to see any of the in between stages. It is amazing the progress they have made in two weeks time. I am so proud of both of my parents. It looks awesome!!!!

Spirit Week

I know some of you have been waiting to see picures from Spirit Week two weeks ago. The sick germs made it to our house, and you name, we have had it. So that is the reason for the delay. Poor Dilon even missed the last day of Spirit week (Fan Day) and Damon got to dress up alone. Daddy is getting sick again; we think with a possible sinus infection. So I don't think the illnesses have ran their full course here yet.

Monday was Duct Tape Day. As I stated previously, that was a new one for me. Tuesday was picture perfect because they had group pictures. The two stinks took such good pictures that when I saw the proofs I started to cry like a baby. Wednesday was Sr. Citizen day. Thursday (we didn't take pictures) was hero day. The boys dressed up in their halloween costumes and were Superman (Damon) and Batman (Dilon). And Friday was super Fan Day!!!! Damon loves blue so he thought it was awesome he got to spray his hair blue:)

Oh and we had to add the picture of Miss Kinsley finding her toes at the very end:)

Here are some pictures for you to enjoy!!!!

Pictures:)

I have tried to post Kinsley's four month pictures on here for a couple of weeks now. I always get interrupted. My inspiration for blogging, Suzi, had a new slide show on her blog a week or so ago. I loved it. So, once again, I am taking a cue from her and adding Kinsley's pics that way. It was so EASY:) Thank you, SUZI:)

Duct Tape Clothing???

Ok Ok....I have been out of the loop for quite awhile. Being a stay-at-home mom has a tendency to do that to a person. It also hasn't helped that my kids were small and I have stayed AT HOME all of these years.

But this was a new one for me. I got to spend yesterday making DUCT TAPE CLOTHING!!!! You see, basketball playoffs start this week for small schools across Oklahoma. The school is having spirit week in conjunction with this. Tomorrow is Duct Tape day. You can decorate your clothes with duct tape or get creative and make something to wear.

The boys and I (along with Kinsley, of course) went to Wal-Mart yesterday. We picked out colored duct tape (Kevin and I had no idea they even made such a thing...we must live in the dark ages). Damon picked out purple and of course his fav, blue. Dilon picked out red and yellow. They each have a floor length looking over coat made out of their colors. The inside is silver (the only tape color I knew they made). I wrote on each boy's coat "Go Fight Win, #1, and so on." It was fun to make but time consuming. Both boys absolutely love them. I can't wait to go to school and see what the other kids have come up with. That could be a post all its own tomorrow:)

A new one for Mom...Making "Duct Tape Clothes"

I am open to ideas (send either email or post under comments) for the rest of the week. Tuesday is picture day so they are doing picture perfect which is already taken care of by mom:). Wednesday is Senior Citizen Day (I have no idea how to make two, five-year-olds look like old men...HELP). Thursday is Celebrity/Hero Day and Friday is sports fan day. It ought to be fun...Check back for pictures:)
